I DID IT!

Ok, I got rid of that animal!LOL Well I replaced it with another animal anyway!LOL My youngest looked at it and said I looked silly! It's not the best pic of me, but the one I wanted is not on this computer and heaven knows I"ll NEVER be able to get it over here!LOL

I am still having a hard time getting around, but surely I am not THAT old and find this that difficult!LOL

I have whole wheat pizza dough in the oven rising for supper--YUMMY! ANd school is done for today. I just need to vacuum and make pizza and the day's work will be over. I am looking forward to this weekend. My brother turns 33! I am making his bday cake

from the Kraft Food and Family magazine. I am also making a dip from there as well (BBQ bacon spread).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE cooking and baking! I can make almost anything, but consistently making good cookies still eludes me. My stone bar pan has even up my odds, but they still aren't 'great'.

Have you tried using half margerine or butter and half vegetable shortening in your recipes? That really helps make a nice cookie that is chewy, if you prefer softer, chewy cookies. I have also found getting them out before they look REALLY done is also important. They can sit on the tray and cool for a minute or two and will finish that way (so they don't fall apart when you remove them to a rack.)

That cake looks yummy! I love my stoneware....maybe its your oven. :)
