Does this generation have a lack of commitment?

I've got 3 cancellations on the coop tomorrow. Which is not a big deal, but I went to all the effort of making preztel dough for the kids and IT WILL ONLY BE JOEY! I'm startign to get a complex about him. The same thing happens in Sunday School!!!!!!!! Dh asked me to go along to that truck pull (that was tough to say NO!LOL) and I told him that I was to teach. He said, well it's only ever JOey. YES BUT I MADE A COMMITMENT!!!!!! Does that mean NOTHING anymore? (I'm not bashing the coop ppl--they all have valid excuses--medical issues) Yk, but the soccer pics--who shows up? One lady who wants pics, the coach and us!

I don't know. Maybe I"m too old school. But this is why I hate getting involved sometimes. Lack of commitment. I put alot of time and effort into teaching and the activities I have planned. It's frustrating when ppl don't do what they commit to.

I must be old schooly too--cause nope--folks just seem to not care about anything really anymore.
