paranoid......

AFter we went to bed last night, I saw a light flash on our front porch post. I'm horribly paranoid by nature and waited an appropriate amt of time for a car before flying out of bed and peeking thru the blinds. Dh looked out the other window, saw nothing, rolled over and started snoring. I wish it were that easy for me! Thankfully I was very tired, but I was a WRECK!!!!!! I did finally go to sleep and slept hard all night, but I was very tired when I woke up at 7. Actually I went back to sleep until Joey came in!LOL But I just hate that......

Dh said it was probably just an Amish guy on his scooter. And it probably was, but DON"T FLASH IT ON OUR PORCH!ROTFL!!!!!!!

I know how you feel, the slightest sound or light from outside and Im up like a flash. The dh just lays there snoring like a log. I have told him several time, that the house will burn down with him in it, because he never hears anything.

Actually we BOTH sleep like logs--its just hte GETTING to sleep when something like that happens that is my issue. Where we lived before the trailer across the street blew up and burnt ot the ground and when I was leaving for lunch the next day, I noticed it had burned and I was thinking WOW! I wonder when that happened. The police chief walked in the bank that afternoon and said thanks for letting me use your yard. I was like HUH? He said, last night for the fire. What? He said, didn't you hear us? Ummmmmm, no. Turns out there were like 4-5 fire trucks and several police cars--lights sirens the whole 9 yards and we slept thru it ALL!!!!!!! We slept thru another house that actually exploded and woke up most of hte neighborhood as well. We are VERY sound sleepers! I do hear the kids tho!;)
