SO much for resting today!

Oh the things I get myself into! I did get up and did cardioa nd yoga so that felt GREAT! Then, mainly to impress the neighbors, I went out in my workout gear and a toboggan to pick tomatoes in the rain!LOL I got a 5 gallon bucket tho and that should be tons. I want to make that bruschetta (FINALLY!) and 8 pints of diced tomatoes. I'll start dicing those later. Then I remembered last night on the way to kid's club that I had been given a bag of sashes in August that I was supposed to sew. I didn't pay much attention to it. I like to sew and figured it'd be about an hour. HA! There were 22 sashes in there! I called my friend and she said to just do what I wanted and if she couldn't find someone to finishe them that she would. I had them all serged by that point so it was just hemming. Well, she has no more business doing them than I do so I did them all. I got done at 12:45 (started at 10). I could barely stand (my back was in knots) and chopped up a tomato and dumped some cottage cheese on my plate and went to lay down adn watch Matlock.;) I did manage to lay down thru most of that. I got up and started veggie soup int he crock pot since I need my dutch oven for the bruschetta. I mainly dumped a bunch of stuff from the freezer in it!ROTFL! Half a bag of corn, the rest of a bag of peas, some red onion, chopped up some celery, the last 2 potatoes, threw in the hamburger and little bit of salsa that I just wanted out of the frig and 2.5 qt of tomato juice (the pint was the last of the '00 juice! We're now up to '04 juice! This is why I didn't can any this year!). And I just finished up entering Mat's school for this week and checking his 2 tests. He agreed to double up on one subject today, one tomorrow and skip science on Wed so that he only has 2 subjects. This works out great cuz my friend's dd about his age doesn't have school and will be at MOMS on Wed so he just has a teeny bit of work and they are the 'helpers' in there. Then I told my friend I'd take them all (4) to the park until she got off work. Mat will do math in between library and soccer.

So IF my oven gets fixed tonight, tomorrow all I am doing is exercising, showering, adn making my treats for MOMS. And cooking us supper.;0
