Good Day!

The flies on a log for snack (celery, cream cheese and craisins) went over like a lead balloon today in Sunday School!ROTFL! Next week  is the parting of hte red sea so we are coloring pudding blue and they divide it and pour graham cracker crumbs (or whatever crumbs I come up with!LOL) down the middle for the 'sand'. THAT they will like!LOL

I had my nephew today. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw them  come in church. I told SIL that I was teaching SS and that we'd love to have Ryan. Plus the director had asked about him and Ryan is playing soccer thru the church now.  I had another 3yo too. They did pretty good considering hte material is really geared for a slightly older crowd. They LOVED their frog hats! They wore them all thru Taco Bell!LOL But Joey and Ryan were 'fighting' during the children's message. It was about being nice and so Joey told the lady doing it that Ryan was not being nice.......................

I couldn't sleep last night. I was soooooooooooo tired. I went to bed 8:45 nad was still tossing at 10:15 so I took sleeping pills. I did get a good night's sleep, but I was still tired when I woke up. That's just NOT a good sign! Plus I needed to press what I decided to wear today and empty the dishwasher. And we needed to leave early cuz we were hauling dad's tractor. We actually stood A CHANCE of being on time, but there was a horrible accident and we got held up! A truck w/demo car on trailer was in a ditch, on the other side of hte road a bit up was a dakota w/both air bags blown. The front end was messed up. And then was a pull behin RV--OMW! That was OBLITERATED! The truck pulling it was OK(ish) and there was a lady in the driver's seat on her cell phone, but oh my. It was a BAD wreck. The ambulance's were gone, but the fire dept/trucks were still there along w/police cleaning up and stuff.

And I did have 3 kids today in Sunday School, which was fun. Three boys.;) Then to Taco Bell. There were 2 men eating and one kept watching me. I figured he was thinking I was a horrid mother the way the kids were acting!LOL So about 1/2 way thur our meal, I hear someone nsay, What's your name? Everyone was looking at me and I realized someone was behind me and it was him. Uhhhhhhh, Dana last name............ Oh! You are Mike Last Name! He was a year behind me. My dad asked something adn that's when I realized he was a detective!LOL I didn't know him super well in school, but it was nice to see him.

Then back to my mom's where I simply laid ont he couch and ate trail mix!LOL Now we are home waiting for the kid's church group tonight.
