afternoon happenings.......insect collections and ovens

Dh went to pick up my oven part and it was broken! WAAAAAAAAAA! No oven this weekend! I'm praying that that is all that's wrong w/it cuz I have MOMS refreshments and if there is more wrong w/it, we won't know it until Monday night. That means STORE BOUGHT for them!:( I usually make a bfast casserole and bread.

I wanted Mat to take melody bells in HS coop so that meant he oculdn't be in my insect collecting class so I told him we'd do it here. OMW! His specimens are AWESOME! I told him we'd take a pic of it. But he failed to tell me and mounted some live things!ROTFL!!!!!!!!! I don't want to ruin them so we'll just torture them.

I also got the sign up sheet for the HS 'gathering' done. We are opening it up to family (gparents and other relatives) so I hope this doesn't get out of hand! The rocket class will be blasting off their rockets and the collections will be on display. I'm hoping the Melodee Bells will perform at least one song (the preschool will anyway!LOL).

And I the lady who took over PE liked my Track Day idea! WAHOO! So we hope to do th at in 2 weeks. I think the kids will love it. We are modifying some things, but it will be fun nonetheless.

Ah, to be young and full of energy! :-) Run a few circles for me, would ya? Enjoy this time of your life with your wee ones. It's a precious time indeed.
