Fast Friday!

Ahhhhhhhhh, today was nice. I didn't kill myself tryign to get stuff done anyway!LOL I did manage to get up and work out and got the strawberries ready to make jam. Mat was up TOO early and Joey was up late and CRANKY (tired). But we all got out the door w/everything we needed. The kids LOVED making jam. The letter of the day was 'j' so they jumped while they made jam!ROTFL! That doubled as their snack. Leaf and insect class went better than last time. The kids had lots of things to mount and I didn't have to do a single one! We were able to identify most of them as well.

During PE, I checked w/the moms and we have decided to have a meal the day the kids launch their rockets. So I need to make up a sign up sheet for next week. The kids are obviously excited to launch this and it only seems natural to invite the dads. Not all of the kids have rockets, but we'll display the collections and maybe have the bell class play a song. So a nice little program for them. W/a nice vegetable soup and some rolls.

Then off to the grocery store. We bought A TON Of stuff!LOL I was glad the boys were there to help me. We got stuff for the food pantry at church so that was part of it. And I was trying ot keep it seperate so that when I got home, it went straight to the truck and I dind't have to bring it in and back out. We got all of that unloaded and put away. Mat wanted salisbury steaks (encor meal--you are all jealous I"m sure!LOL) and mashed potatoes so I did that in the microwave nad we ate. Taco salad for supper! YUMMY!

That just about does it for me today........
