Almost done processing!

4 super thick pints of chili sauce, 11 pints of plain sauce and about 11 qt. That's all we are processing anyway. If there is more than that, it'll get frozen cuz it's going to be late enuf the way it is. But they will be very nice to have on hand--even if some of it's not as thick as i"d like. Some of the sauce in qt jars will be perfect for chili.

Ahhhhhhhhh, we are totally out of regular pint jars. I tried to tell DH and he didn't get it. I'm almost out of regular lids too. I had 14.4 doz last year--so we've put up quite a bit !I have wide mouth stuff around here so I can continue to piddle and can my other stuff and some 1/2 pints, but I don't know if I want to mess w/buying 28 dozen more lids. I may see if my mom has a few to spare.........

Great job! I know what you mean about buying more stuff. This year was an expensive canning year for me because I had to buy a ton of half-pint and pint jars. The good news is that they can be reused and cut the costs down next year. The lids however, are another issue.
