Last night

I DID! I DID! I'm sure hte wine helped!LOL I got a GREAT night's sleep! It was a great night! My dad showed up to get Mat only to announce that they were NOT cleaning the river today! They are going to a sale. Mat was a bit let down and asked if he still had to go. I told him that pappaw wanted to spend time w/him and he perked up. He REALLY likes to clean the river and dad postponed it 2 weeks and now I don't know if Mat will be able to go cuz of soccer! But I'm not telling him that.  Plus dad took him to my brother's truck pull last night. So DH got home and off we went to our friend's. This is the 1st time in the 7 years that we have lived here that we were invited to someone's house for supper!!!!!!! She ordered in pizza and was all embarrassed by it blah blah blah. I couldn't get her to understand that this was a HUGE treat for us and Joey played and watched movies w/their 6yo. WE played a few hands of euchre and she and my DH WHOOPED her DH and I! But her DH and I do NOT play conservatively and we got set a few times--which is how they won!LOL However once DH called a loner and Jeff and I just looked at each other and said that he must have the right, left, ace, king, queen or else he'd never call it!ROTFL!!!!!!! We moved on to taboo. That was a hoot! DH and I were AWFUL at it, but it was still fun. But I don't suggest playing that game unless  you know the ppl REALLY well cuz personal stuff can creep out!LOL We left there house at 11:30!!!!! (got there at 6) Joey was still awake too. Thankfully he slept in until 9:30 this morning (usually up at 7). But I slept from midnight until 8 straight!!! WAHOO!

We aren't canning tomatoes like I had hoped today, but that's OK. I've decided to break my rule and pick them Sunday night and i"ll can them Monday. I just can't wait much longer.......
