So much for a lazy day

I was hoping for some calm before the storm, but that's just not to happen.

DH got home well after 10 last night so at 10:30 we were putting the new brackets (metal this time! YEAH!) for the shelves. It wasn't going well and I"m not going ot bother to explain it, but it should work. They are just really long shelves and I'm not comfy w/the bracket that HE BROKE OFF in the hole so there is no support for 1 of the 6 spots. I tried to do the shelf over the stove cuz we have issues w/it and I can't make them fit on the side supports. I'm goign to ask Dh, but that shelf is fairly short and I don't know that it would be a big deal. These brackets are LOWER than the others or else I'd leave was was in there, but I can't.

While i was in that shelf, I cleaned a bunch of junk out of there. I also put more in the Goodwill pile that I have going. And I"m contacting a friend and if she doesn't want JOey's clothes, then they are goign too. I want this stuff GONE! But now I can't find the size 5T blanket sleepers! UGH! I know we had some, but they aren't in any of those tubs. They must be w/the missing jeans!LOL I brought up the rest of JOey's winter clothes tho so now both boys are set. I need to weed out Mat's too little/summer stuff, but that will be easy.

I also loaded the van. Always a treat!LOL But it did all fit and I'm basically ready for tomorrow now. I want to leave at 8am and it will be a feat to get me and the boys out the door by then--let alone having ot pack up the van and worry if I forgot something!

And my scrapbook lady called to ask me a question about salsa. I wasn't able to help her, but she did ask me what all I canned for tomato product. She only does salsa and juice. I was sort of surprized! But I tend to be the adventurous and lazy type so the more ready to use stuff I have around here, the happier I am!LOL Plus I think it's a BLAST! Did I say that I'm going ot can some bruschetta this year?

So, hi ho, hi ho, more laundry I've got to throw! (in the washer!LOL)
