The weather is just GORGEOUS and I can't wait for Mat ot finish up school so we can go out in it! I hope to fly kites!

Well another good day here !I decided to all my cleaning today. So I worked out and got moving cleaning. So that's all done for the week and now I"m making pretzels. They are rising!LOL I made those cookies and I'm not sure if they turned out right. Well my neighbor (whose bday is today) stopped by and I was frustrated not to have the pretzels done, so I gave her hte card and cookies anyway. She wanted pretzels so I guess I"ll run some down. I made a double batch so we could have some too and I'm supposed to get 24 pretzels. We shall see...........LOL But while they were rising, I ran down to the bulk food store to get pretzel salt and realized that I could make cheese sauce. I don't want the cheese sauce I make for veggies, but I think I have what I need to make some now. WE'll see. It may be another marshmellow dip event all over again!ROTFL! So Mat's working on school and Joey's watching TV. Not the greatest, but he'll come up in a bit to help shape the pretzels. I'll work on the cheese sauce then. And worst case scenario, we'll be eating lots of stuff w/different cheese sauces for a while!ROTFL!

Dh told me last night that he wasn't going to be here tonight. WHAT? The look crossed his face. He at least looks sorry when he forgets stuff like that now. I don't care that he's got a meeting, and I've tried telling him that for years. I just need ot know so that I can PLAN! This did prompt him to tell me that he'll be gone overnight one night next week. The day was the day I wanted to can, so those plans are now in the trash, but that's ok. With these cooler temps, I may not have as many tomatoes as I needed anyway by then. Soooooooo we'll have meatless veggie soup while he's gone.

I did talk to him about the meat situation and today I balanced the checkbook so I think we're going ot get some meat maybe on Friday. I need to hear from my parents about when they are getting Mat.

And that means I don't have much to do the next 2 days now! WAHOO! I have laundry tomorrow, but that will be easy. Lots of outside time for the boys and I........
