A day out!

We left the house today! The boys had a nice time at library. Joey made the laundry decision easy. I wasn't sure I wanted to mess w/laundry since I'd be knee deep in canning tomorrow. So when Joey peed the bed, laundry got done this morning.:) I also picked 6 green peppers for supper tonight! 2 of them are turning yellow! WAHOO! I'm glad to finally see some COLOR on those peppers! We left a bit early cuz I KNEW the bank was going to be a nightmare. They just can't seem to keep our acct straight or really even answer basic questions. I don't think I'm THAT big of a pain and I know as a former teller that if we were that incompetent that often, there would be something happen. I'm not saying they are stupid or anything like that, but we pay a month in advance and extra on principal. It's NOT a difficult concept and we use the proper coupon and mark how much extra we are paying in prin, etc. So the form is filled out correctly. But our escrow statement was in the mail and they just couldn't pull it up on their computers or find out. I'm just too detailed and I know that. But I went thru the teller and then the manager and then back to the teller and finally just told them to mail me the reciepts cuz I was very late. Granted, I was late for library, but JOey was really looking forward to it. And I can't stand being late!LOL Gas was $2.59 so while I was washing my windows while the tank filled, DH pulled in and offered ot take us to lunch! So we had a nice lunch w/Dh and then off to the grocery. We got home and put everything away and updated the checkbook, cleaned the bathrooms and vacuumed. I get supper going and we're calling it good. ALdi had their Irish Soda Bread and Scone mixes for .25. I hadn't had the scone, but the soda bread isnt' too bad so I bought 2 for the freezer for next March.;) I'm saw a recipe on the back of the scone mix for cheesy herbed or something like that and i think it would be good w/our stuffed green peppers so I'm making that as well.

Mat gets math done adn we pick tomatoes nad we can call it good!

And for as excited as I am about tomorrow (Oh I need to chop up onions too!), the tomatoes ate thru my skin yesterday. SO the acid tomorrow is REALLY GOING TO HURT! The upside is that I'm not going nto be dicing...........just chunking.
