Friday--The Star Party is tonight!

Ok, things are going well here. Last night I did attempt to put the telescope together. Since I know so much about them, I opted for the 'quick version'. I'm quite certain that some of what I have together is wrong so I stopped!LOL Really all that's left is to attach the actual telescope to it after they fix whatever I've done wrong. I can't figure it out, but it doesn't do one of the poses that they have it in!LOL Plus I don't know what all the dials and numbers mean. I need to take a notebook to write this stuff down!LOL Either that or sticky notes to plaster all over it!LOL

As for this morning, I mopped, worked out--sort of--I got 2 phone calls, but they were sort of on commercial breaks!LOL Laundry is almost done and I've vacuumed. Mat's doing school and I think we'll head out about 2. I'm hoping to see the DVD that was w/the telescope,b ut I'm not going ot be too upset if we don't. I need to get Joey packed as well. I really only need his PJs, his 'shirt', and a change of clothes. And I"m pretty stoked. I"M WASHING 'THE SHIRT"! He's not let me in several months and it stinks like PEE! He always carts it to our bed and so I try to take it away from him then to wash it. Today I waited until he was up and running for the day and then snuck it to the washer. It worked! WAHOO!

But he's spending the night w/my mom tonight. DH left at some horribly unreasonable hour to go to the truck pulls and he's gone until tomorrow night. They moved the star party to 9-10:30 and I just don't want to deal w/Joey--he'd be much happier at my parents and he asked ot spend a day w/grammy anyway. Worked out perfect. She's bringing him back over here tomorrow cuz I had asked her to watch the boys while I go to a scrapbook event.
