truck update

So we go look at this truck. I was not impressed. We take it for a test spin (if you've ever test drive w/my DH you'll know I LITERALLY MEAN SPIN) and I said, "I realize I know nothing about gas engines and even less about diesels, but this does not sound right. Is it?" Him: I don't know, I've not heard a duramax before. Ohhhhhhhhh, if the boys hadn't been in the truck, I'd have lunged over and driven us off the road. I could've just SCREAMED! But he did concede that it sounded funny. So he's like, well let's try one of these other diesels. Probably what he meant to do from the get go!ROTFL!  Of course it's newer (an '03) and more money. But it's got 4 REAL doors and lots more room int he backseat. Mat proclaimed upon entry that we HAD to buy cuz it had 4 cup holders int he back. I told him he needs to lay off of the drinking!LOL This one sounded much better and had alot more ammenities. For a heftier price tag, but I think we'll be happier w/it. Plus since it's an '03, we will NOT be going thru this again anytime soon. After I had crunched a bunch of numbers in my head and realized how miserable we were going to be until NEXT Christmas when we can pay this off, I asked him if he was planning on sinking a bunch of money into this one. No, we won't have any money. Ok, just as long as you are very clear on that. He said he might cut the muffler off. I told him that I really don't care what he does as long as it doesn't cost us a dime.

I'm now crawling into bed and getting up at 7am to workout and go shell out money at the ped for Joey's 4yr check up.........
