What an AWESOME day here! I've not been too weepy about Mat being gone in his bday and I called him shortly after 2:28 (his birth time) and told him that NOW he's really 9!LOL He said they were having fun at Chucky Cheese. I was thinking, better them than me!ROTFL! But I worked out and then got ready for my errands. I dropped off the stuff at hte library adn then got my eggs. I went to Walmart praying to find Mat's mushroom chair. MIL was supposed to buy it and called on Monday night to say that she found a remote control rocket nad would that be OK? What do you say? I mean really, it's HER gift to HIM. I was just orchestrating his list to make sure he didn't get 5 mushroom chairs and nothing else--KWIM? So I talked to DH and said that maybe we should get hte mushroom chair and wait on the camera 'til Christmas cuz those mushroom chairs won't be around then. Well I didn't see any chairs and asked and they were GONE! I was so dissappointed. I called DH and finally got him to admit that he would NOT be home by 3 (he's supposed to be coming home early to stain the deck). If he was adamant that he'd be home at 3, I wasn't goign to go to the other town to look at that Walmart. The 1st Walmart didn't have rock salt either. I left there and ran thru the grocery and got what I needed there and then put it away at home and ran to the other town. I walked in and there greeting me was a mushroom chair in the color Mat wanted! At least it better be!LOL He said the dark blue one that almost looked black. I think he was talking about the BROWN one, but I know he won't want that and this one is a dark blue (not navy) and will be fine. I found rock salt after asking 2 ppl too!LOL I got what I needed and wanted to run to Goody's to check on their sales and their clearance was marked 40% more off. So I got 2 shirts and then ran to Payless to see if those white shoes I didn't buy were still there. Nope, but they had BOGO1/2 so I got 2 pair of shoes (total was $10). Then I raced home and here I sit!LOL

Just waiting on DH to get here so we can start staining. I really think we'll get it all done today. I'm hoping anyway.
