ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!

The japanese beetles are back again! They are thick on the peach tree.:( There are still some usable peaches, but not nearly as many. The boys and I picked 6 dozen to give away. We need ot pick alot more, but that will happen when DH gets home. I raked up all the nasties under the tree and got rid of those.

On a much HAPPIER note, I picked all the banana peppers that were ready and I GOT TOMATOES!!!!!!!!!!! Four red and 2 yellow! WAHOO! SUPPER FOR ME!

So tonight, we'll finish pickign peaches and deliver what we can and I've got the peaches, peppers, cukes and tomatoes divied up to give away tomorrow. There will be more tomatoes to pick on Saturday! YIPPEE! I have been waiting for this since spring!

My Dad just bought a Japanese beetle trap. It works awesome! He catches hundreds of them a day. It comes in a kit at Wal-Mart. It's just a green hour-glass shaped bag with a yellow scent bait at the top. They smell the scent and fall into the bag and it traps them. Then you just crush them or burn the bag. I think the kit was reasonably priced. He changes the bag every few days.
