![]() WednesdayOk, it's almost tena nd Mat just woke up. Joey's still sleeping. THANK YOU GOD! I knew he'd start coughing about 3:30am cuz that's when the 8 hours were up and sure enuf, at 4am he was in our room. His coughing was nonstop so I gave him another round meds even tho I didn't want to and went to the couch. At 5:15, I decided enuf was enuf when he was still upa nd keeping DH up and I sent him back to his room. He's so compliant and jsut went! And we told him that sleeping will help him to get better faster so hopefully that helps. And while I was up last night, I worked on the menu for our dinner guests this weekend and then moved on ahead to the boys' bday party. I realized I would be pretty stupid NOT to make peach cobbler for my friends this weekend for dessert!LOL And for the boys' party, I'm leaning towards brats, hot dogs (the epitome of health!), chips, dip, carrots, a watermelon/cantaloupe bowl, MAYBE fresh corn on the cob, hard boiled eggs and sliced tomatoes. Then the standard cake and ice cream bar. And Mat now wants an ocean cake--WHEW! Blue icing and he puts his plastic fish on in some scene and if he needs 'blood', he gets colored sugar!LOL I'm making JOey a single serve number "4" cake (I have a cake pan for that) and he asked for Tom Swift balloons. I told him they didn't make thosea nd he asked why not!LOL ALl he wants is the number 9 and balloons. Sooooooooooo, I am going to take them to the party store and see if I can't get him to go w/Nemo. Providing they still have Nemo balloons. That would go great w/the ocean theme of Mat's and I'll do another cake w/a Nemo on it and write Happy Birthday Mat and Joey. I've got 12 adults and 9 kids so that's why I'm leaning towards two 9x13 cakes. I don't want to run out! I've seen the 6 men eat too!LOL That's about it from here. I worked out, finished reading one of my books and dusted. When Joey wakes up I'll clean the bathrooms and call it a day. I promised Mat we'd swim today too.
