Where is my DH?

I have no idea! I started supper and it'll be done at 7:30.

And we made it to town and back. That was an ordeal. I called the collision place and left a message to just get the truck. Punctuality is not their strong suit!LOL Then I loaded up what felt like 1/2 the house and we left. I got to the bank, dropped off the recycling and had some extra time so I went to Walmart and found DH a white tank top (his all time fav) for $3 and a pair of these shorts that he likes. I have no guarantee that he'll like any of it (I know, how can you go wrong w/a plain white tank, but he won't like the stitching or something goofy!LOL). But I have the reciept.;) Then to the grocery to get the little things and then dropped off the stuff at my friend who had the baby. I left Joey in the car cuz he was sounding stuffy and cranky. OMW She's a little doll!!!!!!!!!!! Then to library where we hauled in the toys and veggies (and YES they want more banana peppers--WAHOO!LOL).

But WOW on that program! It was so nice! The man had 2 dogs he'd rescued and one is a cattle herder and one is a sheep herder. We went outside (IN THIS HEAT!) and watched them do all kinds of neat tricks! And then the kids who got prizes for reading the most number of books got to throw frisbees to them (and each got a frisbee!). I'm still not sure why Joey got books, but he enjoyed throwing and KEEPING the frisbee!LOL And a bunch of new books that the library had ordered were in--HE"S IN HEAVEN! He got 3 of the Guardian of Gahoole books and the latest Gregor (the Overlander) book (Ok, I"m pretty stoked about that one too!LOL). And I checked out 4 books--3 Karen Kingsberry and something else......oh all 4 were hers. Three in one series and then a sequel series (???) to start. I plan on holing up this week (especially w/this heat!) and getting some reading done.

But the library had the party for the end of the summer reading program and it was a PARTY! Pizzas donated from Pizza Hut, coke donated from somewher eand chips and pretzels too! There was enuf for one piece of pizza per child so it was a nice snack.

Which it turns out is a good thing cuz Joey fell asleep on the way home and after an hour, I tried for 30 minutes to rouse him and NOTHING worked. So in a few minutes, I"m going to put some nighttime cough stuff down him (partially to help insure that he sleeps) and toss him in bed. All this waking up at the crack of down and being around all those other kids has finally caught up w/him.

So I'll need to check and see how he is int he morning and call my friend and see if she wants her kids exposed. I don't think she'll have a problem w/teh oldest still coming down here, but she might w/one of hte younger ones (we were inviting someone to play w/JOey so he didn't chase Mat and NOah around wanting to play!LOL).
