feeling better

Amazing what a shower can do! I've got my conditioner on and setting for a few more minutes so I thought I'd brag on my DH. We have had HORRIBLE suppers all week (VBS) and last night at the block party, I literallly waited on him hand and foot. I jokingly asked him what HE was doing for supper tonight. Well he brought home pork steaks! I've got some potatoes that need to be used so we'll have that. I thought about making bread, but it's heat index near 100 today and I didn't want to heat up the house (he's grilling). So probably a salad instead. I might see if hte boys want mac'n'cheese. But I thought that was so nice! And I'll probalby crack open one of the bottles of wine finally too!

I also realized I should be weeding and the garden needs rototilling. But not in this heat. The weeds can have fun for a few days and then I'll attack them hard........
