Monday night

Whew! I just got done weeding the garden adn around the pool! I don't like weeding the onions cuz I ALWAYS pull them. So I have 6 onions that need chopped and frozen tomorrow.:( And Mat will do his last picking of peas and we'll pull that (OK, Dh will!LOL) pig fence and stakes and feed the rest of hte lettuce (it's gone to seed) to the pigs and then I can rototill. But I'm happy the garden looks so much better. The weeds were starting to win the battle. They were around hte pool too. I will work on weeding around the rest of the house the rest of hte week.

In other news, a friend from MOMS had her baby over the weekend so I need to get her dinner made, another sold her house and is moving away. I hate to see her go. Another found out she is having a boy.

And I think I have most stuff under control for tomorrow. I cashed a check and have plenty of ones for the kids to give an offering. I need to run the stuff to go back to the library out to the van TONIGHT so I don't forget them (like I did this morning!) and go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight so that I don't sleep too long in the morning.

I did manage to get a shower in this afternoon. WONDERFUL! I still need to get my hair flat ironed, but at least I'm not behind the eightball at this point.;)

hmmm I always leave onions in the ground. Even until the tops are brown I still let them there and only grab them to use...
I remember growing up the garden was done and we still went out to get the onions. Is that bad?

What kinds of dinners do you make for people who just had babies? I think this could be a ministry I enjoy now that I SAH but I would not know what kinds. Give me some examples.
