![]() Wed & Thurs of vacationMy digi camera was full so no pics of this part! But these were the days we spent at Holiday World. SUCH FUN! We decided to do the amusement park side Wednesday. You enter in "Christmas" and we missed most of that!LOL There were some kiddie rides and the boys did those. Next was Halloween, and Mat wanted to ride a roller coaster. This was is called The Raven. The lines were nonexistant that day because there werent' many ppl there (thankfully!) and we got right up there. I wasn't sure what Mat knew about coasters and I didn't want him freaking out, so AFTER we were belted in and moving, I told him the 1st hill is the worst and thing would be OK after that. We got down that first hill and he said, this is awesome! I was glad. I wasn't sure what I was going to do if he did NOT like it!LOL But he wouldn't ride anymore, which was fine. We rode almost every other ride in the park (some 2 & 3 times!). There was one in Thanksgiving called Gobbler Getaway and you have to 'shoot' at these targets. Oh that ride was a SCREAM! You are in a moving 'coaster' and Dha dn I were at it tooth and nail! The 1st 2 times, we got about 700-800 each. But it was our last ride there on the last day and I SLAUGHTERED him getting 1480 to his 1050!LOL The boys liked the ride too, but poor Joey never hit anything!LOL I was very pleased at how many things Joey was able to do. It's all based on height and they are VERY strict about enforcement. It's just almost overwhelming and on a busy day, I can see how you couldn't get to it all. We left b efore the park closed just cuz we had done everything we wanted to! Thursday we did the 'wet' side. That was fun too! Again, lots for younger kids and just as much for adults! I was bummed that I couldn't do some of the more adventurous rides cuz Mat didn't want to! Unfortunately, it was MUCH more crowded taht day adn lines were much longer. But we still had fun. We thought for sure the boys would drop off on the ride home, but nope, they were ride awake when we pulled in the drive at 10:30! And I must say that Joey really liked the "Hotel 6" that we stayed at. We couldn't convince him it was Motel for some reason!LOL And he is a READING FOOL! No pulling the wool over his eyes anymore!
