Friday afternoon

Whew, having a nice and COOL day here. But it's soooooooooooo humid! I do not like humidity! Unfortunately my plants do!LOL And the rain came so we didnt' get the house done.:(

But we made it to town. I got my eggs--YAY! And hard boiled 6 of them for DH. 1 dozen for us and 5 doz for the houseboat. Then to Walmart and they did take back the razors, BUT they were .30 cheaper for some reason???? I didn't have my receipt so I couldn't argue even though I just bought them yesterday. And I cashed in the coupons for free dog and cat food (thank you Laura @ Foggy Mountain Farm!). Then to the bulk food store. they didn't have mom's veggie chips that she wanted, but she said another shipment on Monday so I will go back. They also had tomatoes. I asked where they were grown and she said she bought them from an Amish Farm, but I was still skeptical. I bought one and was glad i didn't have my hopes up. You just CAN NOT BEAT a home grown tomato.;)

So then home and we've done nothing but lie around. I'm just so tired. Dh will be home from work and i have to figure out something to do w/this lb of hamburger and then around 9:30-10, we should get the call to pick up Mat. Just DH is going so that Joey can SLEEP!

And my easter lillies and snowball bush have bloomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm SOOOOOO excited! The easter lillies have bloomed before, but this is the FIRST year for the snowball bush! I took some of that and the lilac bush from our old house in 1999. I've been waiting SIX YEARS FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!! Now to patiently wait for the lilac bush. And the hydrangea is starting to bloom! It's PINK tho! I want a blue one. It was supposed to be a blue bush so I need to go make the soil more acidic and see how much that changes the blooms. Hopefully alot!LOL
