Our Father's Day

Yesterday's planned got REALLY changed. Dh asked in the morning if I wanted ot ride up in the church van to drop Mat off for camp adn then he'd pick me up somewhere. The van left at 12:30 so we ditched Sunday School and went to Pizza King (big treat!LOL) and my DAD PAID!!!!!!! I was like DAD IT"S FATHER"S DAY! WE PAY! But I think he was still quite giddy from my brother actually showing up at church.;) Then right back to church adn it was a LONG AND LOUD 2.45hr trip up there! So I was w/other mom for over 5 hours in the van and we NEVER STOPPED TALKING!LOL I was best friend's w/her younger sister in HS so we had lots to chat about. And really not her sister at all!LOL Sooooooooooo, Father's Day was not really celebrated so we are doing it when Mat gets back. I didn't even really get to see MY dad on Father's Day, but that's Ok. I know my dad was thrilled to pieces that my brother came to church. I had completely forgotten about that or we'd have not sat in our regular seats so there would be room. They had to traipse (they were a bit late) across teh balcony to have seats so dad went over to sit w/them.;)

And today we are doing nothing. Other than laundry.
