frustrating baseball

Mat's in the 7 & 8yo league. I remember when I coached 7-10yo girls that things were bad, and sadly we seam to be going back down that path. This should be for FUN! This is NOT LIFE AND DEATH! Let the boys play and LEARN. SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER DOES NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! DH almost pulled Mat the other night cuz the coaches were fighitng so badly and tonight was almost as bad. Our coach has a very large stature (6'5") and is quite intimidating to look at. So when he starts yelling, it's NOT PRETTY! I like him as a coach. The kids have learned tons this year, but I do NOT like the fighting. There is no since in it. Mat has one more game tomorrow and then he's gone for a week. Then the tournament and I have decided that we are not putting our vacation on hold for it. We are just leaving. Dh wasn't there tonight and I was in the process of cleaning Joey (they had those metal bleachers that leave you BLACK!) or he'd have been pulled from the dugout before the game ended. The coach was arguing over what was the winning run for the other team. He'd already thrown a big fit about a bad call from the ump (the other team conceded and pulled the player themselves), but you know what--THOSE KINDS OF CALLS HAPPEN IN BASEBALL! It's just PART OF LIFE! I have no problem w/contesting it, but it should be contested WITH OUT YELLING!

Ok, rant over. I'm so glad this season is almost done.
