Another super busy day here!

I have cleaned for more than 3 hours this morning and I"M NOT DONE!LOL I mopped every square inch of this house, vacuumed every crack and crevice (including hte basement steps--shudder!), windexed everything, washed the outside of all of the toilets and our pedastal sink, cleaned appliance fronts, stove top and the basement is DONE. I sent Mat to his room and put 30 min on the timer and told him not to come out and if I caught him playing, he was in big trouble. All that's really left is the kitchen and I saw no point in cleaning that before we've eaten lunch. The 4th load is almost done and then handwashables. So I should have an easy afternoon (I don't see the kitchen taking me more than 20 min).

Joey was feeling rather ignored about 11 so I did take a 15 min break and we watched the price is right together.

If I could only get the windows washed. I do not like washing windows by myself. I wish I did.;)

You and I are just alike when it comes to the house when company's coming. Everyone always says I freak out and go overboard. But I can't seem to help myself!! Sounds like you've gotten everything spic and span. I prayed you all would have a nice relaxing and enjoyable weekend visiting the family. I'm sure you will!

I can not 'relax' when the house is a mess. So while ppl think I'm nuts or too "Marthaish", I'm a miserable mess if I do NOT. I have tried it before! Off to read your blog.;)
