![]() errand day...They are always long days for me. We got our stuff done here and left about noon. We got Joey signed up for swim lessons, got an ice brownie capp from Tim Horton's (YUMMY!),was dissappointed at Kohls, tried to find a cache which resulted in Mat and I being in an argument, got Mat's tennis racket at Walmart (for under $11 which I was THRILLED about!), bowled (Mat was still holding a grudge and refused to bowl the 2nd game--fine w/me cuz it ended sooner!LOL), ran into some HS friends bowling who told me about 50% off appetizers at a restaurant from 3-5, got the gift card for horseman for taking care of them while on vacation, got flowers for my pots, saw said HS friend leaving restaurant and we had a cache right behind there so we called her. We pulled in and another vehicle was there and I just figured they were cachers too and it turns out it was the cache owner! Which I thought was SUPER cool! She told us where the cache we missed was (drastically improving Mat's mood) and HS mom and I agreed to try this again (she has 4 younger ones so I want to hunt in the park and not in parking lots and along roads for safety's sake). Then to restaurant where we had 10 min to spare in getting our cheap supper ($10 for the 3 of us--not too shabby IMO). Then to get crickets and to the health food store. I was finally done. I looked over my list and saw that I missed getting chocolate chips, but they weren't a need. I just know I"m out. I have 1029384710293847 bags of flavored chips but no plain chocolate!LOL I head to get diesel and pull in to find both pumps full. I was getting stared at and I knew they were wondering what I was doing and sure enuf the one guy left and I whip around to the spot and the other guy says, "Does that really run on diesel?" Instead of a smart reply along the lines of, "No, but I thought it'd be fun to wait for a pump and try it anyway....." I said, yes. Him: How's the mileage? Me: Oh not too shabby--it gets 28 on the highway. A FedEx truck pulled up behind me about that time and I took advantage and found something to do. So over 6 hours later, we are home, Mat's taken care of the animals and the boys are outside riding bikes........ Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 84 of 2106 } { Next Page } |
