Tuesday......home at last......

We're home all day today and MAN is that GREAT!

I laundered the sheets and towels and the boys did school and I got a shower!WAHOO!LOL I did also balance the checkbook and got some other stuff done (like go thru the Christmas cards and cut the fronts off of the usable ones).

And I managed to find an EASY hindu dessert recipe for Sunday! We're studying world religions and I had the bright idea to make food from each area. This one is Easy Mango Kulfi. It takes 5 ingredients, all of which I can find locally,  and you puree them in the blender and freeze and serve! I'd say easy!

I also decided to make bread. I tried to buy some last night and the store only had hamburger buns! This was a great time to try the new oat flour I bought. It seems to be rising, bu tI think it's going to be VERY dense. I'm really making it to go w/the pork roast/veggie soup for tonight. I think I"m going to add the au gratin potatoes to it since no one has eaten them. Before you think it's sick, there aren't that many and I hate to pitch those potatoes!LOL

Ok, off to get caught up online and read a book.
