my weekend.......

Ok, I regrouped and I am ready to go again. I have a plan of attack and I am chopping away at it massively.  Saturday was a long day, but fun. Dh took us out to eat (pizza buffet) that night, which I muchly appreciated. Sunday was a rocky start. we needed to leave at 9:15 for the zoo and I was up at 7:15 nd going. Dh was not!LOL He had his own time table so the boys and I were loaded and sat in the van and waited on him (it drives him batty when we do this). He drove like an old man getting up there so we were 30 min late. I knew my famile wouldn't be on time, but I'd still like to show up before they do!LOL Since we were all so late, my dad wanted pizza hut buffet. I was too tired to think about why that didn't sound appealing,b ut I knew the boys liked it so I agreed. I'm surprized DH didn't makea  comment, but halfway thru lunch, I remembered we'd have pizza buffet the night before!ROTFL! But my dad bought, which was great and we got to the zoo at 1 (we were supposed to be there at 11!). We got kicked out at 5, but had a great time. Rode the log ride, safari ride, etc. They have a statue of a mamma kangaroo and the pouch is open for the kids to climb in for pics. So we got Joey taking his picture as a joey!LOL Actually all lthe kids were in it nad it turned out nice. Dh went the wrong way on the way home and the boys called my sister (who didn't go) to tell her about it and Joey was telling her about how I had hte map out and daddy went the wrong way,e tc. He was repeating waht DH and I were saying to each other verbatim and it was quite humorous. Then we are at her alma mater so I grabbed the phone and said GET US OUT OF HERE NOW!LOL So it was late when we got home--7:30. A long day ot say the least.

And DH's cell phone was ringing at 6:30am. Dh didn't answer it, but did get up and was getting readya dn it naturally started ringing while he was in the shower. I was in a fantabulous mood by this point so I grab the phone and see that it's his parents and wanted to wring his mom's neck. And I was think why did you call at 5:30 YOUR TIME??? Anyway FIL actually relayed the message that DH wanted to talk to her and that it was important cuz I guess he'd not gotten confirmation about whether or not she was coming.  So she says, well I thought the kids were up by 6:30 every morning. I was like WHAT??????? Instead I just said that since DST, they'd been sleeing until 8. So then she apologizes and says she'll talk to me when I'm fully awake. Well I am now thank you,b ut I hung up.

And all the sheets have been washed and put back on the beds and the 4th load is almost done in the washer. It was too cold (IMO) to hang them up so they stay in the basement to dry. I also have a bunch of stuff done for my trip. I need to make a run to Big Lots and buy some soap they had for something. I need 31 more, but they are only .35 so it's not a big deal. And since I'm sort of caught up, I'm on break for a minute (the buzzer on the washer just went off tho). This afternoon, I take inventory of hte freezer and make up a grocery list. Tonight is baseball and I do have a lb of meat out thawing, but no idea what we are eating!LOL Tomorrow is some light cleaning, finishing up last minute details and the afternoon will be at big Lots and dropping Mat off for karate and grocery shopping. I will cook whatever food I can/need in the morning too. Wedneday, I clean the floors and we have HS library int he afternoon so I will get books renewed, etc then. I will write out the list of things for MIL (even tho she'll loose it and not read it and I will also email DH the list). I need to drop off pics to get developed while in town. Since she won't be coming in until late Thursday (well, later than I need her), I'll be dusting and cleaning the bathrooms, doing laundry and last minute details.

So, I feel better and I hope to get lots of sleep this week and I will execute my attack flawlessly (Serious amounts of laughter in the background).;)
