chickens, laundry, school and nametags

Ok, I sat w/Joey and he got school done in record time AS LONG AS I SAT THERE! The second I got up to do ANYTHING, he was sidetracked. I got my lesson plans for Sunday School done. Altho I tried to call the church to find out average attendance. Turns out I got hte bulletin and flipped thru and should have 6 on average. Fine. I have stuff prepped for 5!LOL I also mopped, vacuumed, worked out, showered, harvested stuff from the garden and have all the laundry on the line. Mat's done w/school, too, as a bonus.

I think DH FINALLY caught on last night. My family has been emailing about my brother and his family coming to town the 20th. I asked him what his wife wants for her bday. Dh was like "Ohhhhhhhhhhh, that's her bday weekend!" Me: Yes! So I will be sucking MORE money out of the checkbook--that's why I included you in the eloop. He said that he's just turning into me and not wanting to touch the savings. BELIEVE ME! I TOTALLY appreciate that! I guess my thing was that he did not even ASK me what I thought! He also wanted to take pickled beets to some meeting at work today. They are your beets, knock yourself out.......lol Then he wanted to take in hard boiled eggs............gonna have to boil them. He declined. Then he asked for me to do a chicken in the CP. I told him that I had quite a bit to do today adn wouldn't feel like picking a chicken clean. But this morning, I woke up SERIOUSLY craving mashed potatoes. So there is a chicken in the CP and we'll have chicken'n'noodles and mashed potatoes........carb heaven!ROTFL! Mat's got to go pick and clean some carrots for cooked carrots (just for good measure, yk!LOL).

I'm still debating on how to print the class pics from the year book. I'm just taping them to peel'n'stick nametags so I'm debating between photo paper or just regular paper. Thing is, the classmates who don't show up are going to have their pics dispersed on the tables as 'confetti'. I hated to pitch them and we are to bring old memorbilia as decor.

My son is the same way...I have to sit there the entire time!

Now I am hungry for some chicken too! I haven't been hungry for it since we butchered ours a few weeks ago (first time ya know LOL).
