I got up, picked up my Amish neighbor, ran to the PO, the Farm store for (bulk) canning lids, drove about 15 miles and picked four 5 gallon buckets of tomatoes, came home, canned 2 of the buckets into 20qt of juice, made caramel rolls, zucchini bread and muffins, cleaned up adn we are walking out the door for a church party for Joey's age. Then back home to can the salsa.;)

 

Update: Joey had fun. Mat got hurt and the church said they'd take care of any care that he might need. I told my friend (the secretary) that I was going to wait a day and see how Mat did. He messed up his wrist. And of course, he's OVERTIRED and I finally sent him to the sanctuary to lay down on a pew!

 

And the 2nd batch of salsa is processing. That's 13 pints. I've got 5 more ready when that's done. So 20 qt of juice and 18 pints of salsa. Not a bad day.
