Our 15th Anniversary!

We are back home. Had a BLAST! Dh did take off work early yesterday and we arrived at this Raddison but he messed around on the computer and we missed getting to the Vinkolet Winery for dinner before they closed!  :(  And we checked the menu and it was under $20 for most dishes. So we decided to go to Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse instead. I knew it was going to be pricey........we only drank water, got no salads, appetizers or desserts and dropped over $100!ROTFL! It was DELICIOUS tho! And we were STUFFED! I went all out for bfast and used the coffee maker and mugs to whip up the oat packets I brought from home!LOL Then we went down to the river and walked--FUN! They have a self guided walking tour about Covington and then we walked across the John Roebling suspension bridge that was built in 1865. We went back to eat at the revolving restaurant (under $25!LOL). We also got upgraded to an executive suite, which was nice. On the way home, we got those tv converter boxes and I need to run into town later on tonight and check out the party store. The place I wanted to order cakes from is booked so I may have to make their cakes afterall. Joey wants a beach theme and Mat a frog. I told them they could order one cake and they decided on a frog on a surfboard. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO MAKE THAT MYSELF!ROTFL!!!!!!!

Then I get to stop by a local festival and snag my supper--an elephant ear.;)
