Sometimes things are just a madhouse here and this morning was one of them! Last night at supper, DH asked me what time I wanted to leave for IL on Friday. Got my answer as to whether or not we were going!LOL I'd been planning as if we were so it was no big deal other than annoying for his parents, I'm sure. And he said we were staying until Monday.

He's getting over a cold and Joey's almost over the cold and Mat's starting it. I figure odds aren't in my favor. Plus I had a visitor last night and I was really hoping I wasn't goign to get wiped out. So I hit the ground running at 7:15. I started my first load, mopped and got ready to trim mow. Dh had asked me to last night and the trim mower has given me fits the last couple of years. I don't mind doing it, but the mower is bad and it takes an hour to trim mow when it works properly. It's self propelled, but the self propelled part doesn't work. You might not thing that's a big deal, but it's HUGE. Even w/the gear disengaged, it's like moving a tank. Mind you I work out w/weights regularly and it was 60 out and I was in shorts and a sweatshirt and I was very red faced and sweating profusely by the time I got done. Not only that, he wants me to trim around everything TWICE and I only did it once. Did I mention that I dug dandelions for 1.5 hours on Tuesday, cut cheese and sliced frozen cookie dough? My palms were already seriously bruised and trying to deal w/that lawnmower nearly did me in. But I know how desperately he wanted the lawn mowed and we're gone all weekend so if I didn't trim it, he wasn't going to get it all mowed. At any rate, while the 2nd load washer, I trim mowed. I came in, hung up that load, started the last load and the dry cleaning load and went up to take a shower. After the shower and working w/my hair a bit, I hung up the last load and put away the dry cleaning stuff. I finished getting ready and sent Mat w/clothes for Joey to dress him in the basement (they were playing down there). I had 10 minutes to spare so I vacuumed. I didn't sit down all morning until 10:30 when we left for library and my head was feeling it. I left and called MIL to tell her our plans and couldn't remember if I shut the garage door so I backed up. Then we got about 2 miles away and I realized I forgot the cookies and cheese for the Egg Hunt today. Then as I was leaving the 3rd time, DH pulled up and thankfully he was only dropping his trailer off. I told him I was NEVER again mowing w/that trim mower. He asked why. I wanted to scream. It's not like this is the first time we've had this conversation. But I didn't. I just told him that it nearly kills me to trim mow. Not only that I'm a little irked about the temper tantrum he had w/the weed eater. I'm missing ALOT of my striped grass around the boulders and he got some of my daylillies. I think they will all survive, but I was not impressed. So by the time I got home this afternoon, my head was killing me so I sent the boys to the basement and tried to sleep. I did a little so the migraine is at bay, but I"m wiped for the day. I was hoping to be able to go outside and pick up the sticks and trash in the yard for Dh. Mat has ball at 5 and I need to cook. So if I can sit here for a bit and be OK, we'll go outside after bit.
