I had to upload these for something else and thought I'd share them here. BOY did this ever get me in the mood for SUMMER! A nice warm red tomato from the garden........oh yummy........

These are from the past 2 years so things look a bit different, but not much.

These are some pics of my flowerbeds. This first one is the back of the house between the deck and garage:

This one is of our garden. Those are potatoes on the left, lettuce and broccoli and peas in the next row and then some very sad corn.Water was an issue at that time.

Peppers from our garden:

We have some of the biggest tomatoes I have ever seen. And they aren't just all plant--we have wonderful tomatoes from them!

This is a pot that I made for MIL for Mother's Day one year. I LOVE doing this kind of thing!

Mat cutting up a watermelon from our garden:

A canteloupe from the garden. They were all like that--almost NO rind!

Mat with some of our bounty:

Mat made hot pepper vinegar as a service project one year. We gave them to the church bazaar to be sold and some away as gifts.

Wow, your gardens and produce is beautiful. I cant get over the size of your watermelon, and it looks soooooo good. Your melon is huge too, one question, about your melon, why very little rind?

Candy

Thanks!

I'm pretty passionate about my gardening!;) These melons were SOOOOOOOO ripe and sweet and drippy! I'm assuming there was very little rind because of their ripeness. The watermelons are out of this world. I'm usually giving this stuff away cuz we have too much, but it's so much fun and so worth it......

It does look great. This is our first year to put in a garden so I am hoping it looks half as good as yours.
Blessings,
Trixi
P.S.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
