Waiting for a thunderstorm to arrive

Of course, we have been waiting now for several days.  A little bit of rain, but nothing drastic.

The cats and I had company twice today and of course they had to misbehave.  Now they are all sleeping and getting their rest so they can stampede up and down the halls all night and keep me awake.

I envy all of your with your gardens and fresh vegetables.  I can't even grow plastic plants.  There is a story to that.  We moved into this house in South Dakota that had beautiful flowers all around it.  I took such loving care of them they promptly died.  So I went into town and bought 2 dozen plastic red geranium plants and put them all around the house.  They looked so pretty against that white house.  Then one day I went into town and when I came home the dogs had dug up every one of those plants.  The kids always teased me after that that I couldn't even grow plastic plants.

Well, I don't know if I am working this right, so will close for right now.

oh dear, you sound just like me! I've always killed any plant I touch. My mom gave me an "unkillable plant" and it died. The only thing that ever survived my touch was an aloe plant. Last year I planted a garden. HA. That was terrible. I was given a plant on Mother's Day this year and it is already dead.

My MIL is the same way. And we tease her about killing plastic ones, too. She once had a beautiful arrangement. She walked by it and the flower fell off. LOL
