Canning Update

Let's see . . . we are finishing up the peaches. We got 47 jars completed over the last two days. We are finishing up now and it will be past 10 pm before I crawl in to bed exhausted. We also got 14 jars of green beans and pickles, so our total for this weekend is 61 jars. I was thinking about it today that if I did 100 jars per weekend during the peak canning season then we would get our 800 jars during that time. That would stock us up. The question is whether I have the physical tolerance to do it.

Just happened by your blog, and took a few moments to read. It seems as if you are going to be very busy indeed. I read most of the entries, and enjoyed them a lot. I hope you'll be encouraged by this bible verse, "....where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Corinthians, 3:17. Be of good cheer, and write whatever is in your heart. For no man may sit in judgement of you, only the Heavenly Father, who is your God. Rejoice in the knowledge that He is your defender, and shelters you under His wing.
