Our family has been suffering from a second round of severe colds, but we seem to have finally turned the corner.  It has left me horribly behind on housework and spring activities.  I have yet to get my seeds ordered and DH and I did not get a greenhouse built so I will have to order some plants.  Laundry was horribly behind but I am finally getting caught up and got some extras washed liked coats and bedding.  We are finally getting started on our tax paperwork.  We got the bacon and hams smoked from when we butchered the pig.  We will be having a lovely home grown Easter ham.  We also got the car detailed, the garage cleaned out and rearranged, and some closets organized. 

The girls and I also discussed re-assigning chores and they came up with a plan they like better so we will be trying it out.  They have decided to clean and tidy the upstairs and downstairs on alternating days.  They further decided that they will work together to get it done instead of having assigned areas they are each responsible for.  I was blessed to have them thinking about how to better organized their work and still keep our home clean.  There was ownership there that makes a mamma proud.
