We are now a family of 8 and I am getting back into the groove of homesteading.  I have not been able to keep up with everything like I want to.  We have also had a round of colds and I had the flu.  Yesterday I did get dresses made for all three girls, which they wore to church today.  The oldest already ripped a hole in the seam. 

DH is outside right now castrating the piglets.  It is amazing how quickly time flies.  The girls and I have been cleaning up and getting ready for the new week.  I wish that we were spending more time relaxing on Sunday, but there always seems to be so much to do.

I need to get my garden seeds ordered and plans made for the garden.  Our pantry is full enough to make it thru until summer, but I know it will be even harder to re-fill it with all of the little kids.

how did you get the 4 kids? we have 3 boys and 2 fosterteens.....we used to have another one, but he went home.......I am just getting into the homesteading idea and the blogs I see have been so inspiring to me!!!
Sorry to hear about the pigs. I remember as a girl chasing piglets that got out of their pen.....fun, yet not fun:-)
