Today has been a busy day around here - what is new. On Saturday mornings we always spend time feeding things and working with our fermented items. This includes our sourdough starter, sweet bread starter, vinegars, and kombucha. We also make sauerkraut or kim chi and bake granola or another cereal. We spent some time in the herb garden trimming the plants, laying newspaper around them, and putting hazelnut shells down around them. We aren't quite finished. Now I am making soap. I had a request for a cracker recipe and I have not forgotten. I will hopefully get to that soon.
