We are having a quiet day on the farm. I have a migraine that just won't go away. I spent the morning hibernating in my room. Now I am trying to finish a dress and pinafore I promised my oldest would be done for Sunday. I finished the other girls' dresses last week. This one has just given me the worst time. The sleeves won't go in with out bunching at the seams. I think the pattern is off. If I didn't have a headache already, this would have given me one. I have been working on the sleeves for a week. Finally, I had to admit that no one will even see the minimal bunching with a pinafore on over it. Oh well.
We are working on several sewing projects today and I am pinning while I read blogs. Yesterday we did our big kitchen cleaning. We have about 3 weeks set aside for some major cleaning to get the house in order for for the holidays. Little ones are napping so we are cutting out some Christmas projects for them, while they sleep. |
