New BiBle Study

Have any of you ever heard of Dave Ramsy's "Financial Peace University"? It is an awesome study. We just started it about 3 weeks ago. It teaches you how to, of course, budget your money and save 3-6 months worth of your monthly bills. And, it also teaches you how to bargain shop, and good investments and bad investments, and ONLY TO PAY CASH for EVERYTHING!!! Well, it's a whole new way of life for us, but I am excited about it. He is a funny man too. He's not a boring man to listen too. I would encourag you to look into it if you have never heard of him or his ideas. He is a Christain and bases is program on scripture. I would definitely like to learn to live more frugally and through this study and being reminded of the Lord's word, we will be able to do that.

We are also in the third week at our church - I have recently retired, but have already learned and applied a number of ideas from the classes.
I truly appreciate that he emphasizes giving first. God has blessed me so many times when I have given to Him and to others first - even on my small income. But I do know that I am His child and He can certainly take care of me.
