Strep tests

So just out of curiosity, how many of you have had false negative strep tests for your children? My DD has been complaining of a soar throat for two days now. It took her to get a strep test and it came back negative. Now she has a fever and is crying it hurts so bad. All I can do is give her lots of motrin and popscicles. I'm thinking if this is still going on Friday I'm going to take her back in. For now I pray it's short lived because we are supposed to be going on a feild trip on Monday. On another note both boys have ear infections. I'm hoping they will sleep better tonight than last night. Parker got up three times crying about his ear and Kaleigh got up twice crying about her throat. Maybe that's why I'm so tired today. Well I really should at least go for a walk on the treadmill to try to keep my resistance up so I don't get it. I find that when I do not excersize regularly I tend to get sick easier. So off I go for a 2 mile tour....while all is quiet and my sick ones are asleep.

I had one.
And it was streph and it turned into Scarlet Fever.
Needless to say.......I was not a happy mom.
If you open her mouth and look down the back of her throat with a flash light and it is red, streaks of red or white...get to the doc, quick.
