Words cannot describe

Words cannot describe the scene I entered into today. I was having a good day doing school with my daughter ( the boys were upstairs playing trains) when I decided to come up to get the boys ready for their naps. I walked in their room to discover wall to wall baby powder. Oh but if this wasn't bad enough they had water poured on it. So it now was this pastey substance of sorts. It took me almost an hour to clean up.ARRRRG! Why do children find the need to do things like this? It's not like I haven't said before "Don't play with the baby powder" I need a vacation! Please humor me....write your story to me of huge messes your kids have made. We can laugh and cry together!

I was a single Momma and worked 3rd shift, and slept every other day, so I was a mess to say the least.
I awoke on Christmas Eve day to find that my children had TORN DOWN OUR TREE and broke EVERY ornament.
I cried and cried.....
but now 7 years later, it seems funny.
(((hugs))) it will get better!
Not really a mess, but.......

my precious (I use that term loosely!LOL) Mat was about 3-4 and was using markers and I had to use the bathroom. I came back to see that he had drawn his face ON his face in permanent marker...........I forget how long he looked like that.;)

when my son was 3 we were on our on (single mom) I had to use the bathroom. well while I was in there it became very quiet. when i returned to see what he was doing he had made himself home in the refridgerator and broke a dozen eggs in the floor, pour ketchup on top of that and added a few other things from the fridge that mounted to a big mess in my kitchen floor. KIDS YOU GOTTA LOVE EM

Hi Connie! As usual I'm late reading this but I have to tell you:
Each of the two older girls, when they were each about 18 months old, woke up quietly from a nap, found the (non-washable) markers I stupidly (even after the first time!) stashed on the shelf next to the crib, managed to get the case open, managed to get the covers off the markers, and managed to paint themselves ALL OVER (because they were both in just a diaper at the time. I mean, I nearly cried from the deja-vu-ness of it all) in rainbow-colored war paint.
Non-washable. War paint.
Took me forever to scrub it off 'em.
Actually, who'm I kidding? I didn't scrub my precious little babies' skin. I just let people stare as it slowly wore off. :)
Merry Christmas girlfriend! Email me your address and I'll send you one of our (very late) Christmas cards! :)
Love Kim
