Thank you Kitty

As I browsed some of my friends blogs this evening I came across Kitty's Korner.  She had a wonderful idea of listing one thing everyday that you are thankful for.  Seeing it is November 2nd and I missed yesterday...I will list 2 things.

1)  I am thankful that God loved me so much he sent his son to die for me, so that I may spend eternity with him.

2)  I am thankful that God knows exactly what I need and when to give it to me.

Explain you say?  Ever since becoming a Christian, God made it very clear to me that I was not to be unequally yoked (marry an unbeliever).  As a new believer,  I had this invision of what a husband ought to be like.  I thought somehow that I would never have to endure some of the hardships of the world around me, because some how a Christian ought to be better than that.  Right?  WRONG!  Wow,  has God showed me a thing or two.  I spent way too many years trying to change my husband and make him into the man I thought he should be.  I spent way  to many years trying to get my  love and comfort from my husband, instead of from my savior.  It wasn't until I finally let God be my all in all, that I began to see him work in my husband.  My husband is becoming a new creature in Christ and I thank God for that.  He is becoming all that I desired 8 years ago.  And I find myself falling in love with him all over again.  So, thank you God and thank you Kitty for your inspiration!

Its been 17 years for me and my dh. God is working on him little by little, but still has very far to go, lol. God has made it clear to me time and time again that this is where he wants me tho. So hang in there, I must.
