PA and prayer

This past week we had an opportunity to go and visit our friends in Pennsylvania.  It was nice to see my friend and her 6 kids.  I do have a new found appreciation for mothers with more than 3 kids.  I cared for 9 kids while I was there.  WOW!  The laundry itself is enough to make you go crazy!

My friend is in a terrible situation, her husband left and has not been supporting them financially.  She has 2 littlle ones not in school yet and drives the Amish to try to make some money.  She worked a lot while I was there, and I took care of the house and kids as best as I could.  It is heartbreaking to see her in this kind of a bind.  She loves the Lord and eagerly waits for deliverance.  Please join with me in prayer for her. 

On a lighter note, we had fun going to a halloween parade.  Our first one I must say.  I never knew that there was a such thing as a Halloween parade.  I took my train obsessed boys to the train station and to a place called The Choo Choo Barn.  Inside there is a huge display of motorized trains, cars, even people that move.  It was cool and my boys ran around watching it for over 45 minutes.
