our vacation

We had our annual camping vacation to Old Orchard Beach in Maine this year.
None of us had ever been so it was an adventure. The first night we set up camp just in time. It started to pour. Good thing was, the rain only lasted about two hours, so we just went out exploring, found Walmart and got a few things and by the time we got back it was done raining.
The first night Eric and I didn't get any sleep.....you see the campground we stayed at, allthough it had wonderful amenities, was about 1000 feet from a train track!  By the third or fourth night we learned to sleep through it.

Parker and I woke up every morning and went for a bike ride down to the beach. It was wonderful to spend that time alone with him and he did really great. We must have ridden 4 miles each morning, and he never once complained.
The kids spent some time fishing, but Blake was the only one who caught a fish.
We hit Funtown/Splashtown USA and York's Wild Kingdom.......
    
We of course went to the beach. The kids and I created.......
While Daddy rode the waves on the boogie board.
I tried it too...it was fun once you got numb enough not to notice the ice cold water!!!!
What else....oh yeah...Parker ate his first lobster
It was a great trip but by the end we were all tired and ready to come home.....
Now we start to think about where our next camping adventure will take us. HMMM?????
