A great read and a great day!

Started  The Preacher's Daughter by Beverly Lewis on Wednesday and finished it today.   I can't wait to get the next book in the series from the library.  I must admit, I didn't see the whole unexpecting ending with Ben and the peach pit in his pocket at the end.  Is he Zeke's long lost brother and if so, who's bones did they find?  Will Annie leave her Amish lifestyle behind and will Louisa decide she wants to become Amish or will she and Ben get married.  Oh so many unanswered questions!!!!!   This will only make sense if you have read the book.  If you have not, I strongly urge to you to pick it up for a good, carefree summer reading.

Today after church, the whole family went to see a shark tournament.  We saw two sharks come in.  They weighed them and then cut them up.  It was kinda cool.  My DH and I were shocked at how into it our daughter was.  We thought the boys were going to be the ones that thought it was cool but quite the opposite was true.  After the sharks we went go-cart riding and then out to dinner.   I always enjoy it when my hubby comes up with the family day plans.  Here are some pics from our day.

This was a Mako that weighed in at 146 pounds.  The winning Mako for the day was 167 I believe.

Cool mouth shot!

Kaleigh took this shot....I think she might have a future in photography.
