Happy Father's Day

Eric,

I have seen you grow as a husband and a father and I am so grateful to have you.  It seems just yesterday that our first child was born.  The tears of joy you shed that day, I knew you would be a great dad.  It took a while for you to figure out what to do with a baby seeing you never had any experience with babies growing up.  But I must say by the time our third rolled around, you were a natural.  I watch you with the kids and I admire your patience and how you relate to them.  They adore you and I am thrilled to hear Parker say he wants to be just like Daddy.  Thank you for the time you take to be with them and make memories that will last a lifetime. 

You have a very special role as the man in our daughter's life.  You set the standard for her future husband.  I hope she is as blessed to have a wonderful husband as I have been.

I love the crazy ideas you come up with the get the kids to laugh or to surprise them.

They love that special wrestle time you make with them.  This is what it is all about and these are the things they will remember when they have kids of their own.
