Fact: I am not superwoman. As a mother of 6 I barely have time to scrape together to make posts on my blog. I find that with being a full time mother, wife, teacher to my children, and keeper of the home that I can't be superwoman, nor should I want to be. I can't read 6 books a week and then comment about them with big words that you need to look up the definition to, to impress you. After spending my day playing with my kiddos I find myself saying words like, "boo-boo, potty, and pee-pee"! I forget to bring the camera with me different places we may go and then post the pictures of my family on my blog. We 're lucky if we remember the camera and take pictures for us! If we get all the kids ready to go somewhere with their shoes, coats, and hair brushed without too much commotion we are doing good. I find that any ounce of creativity I may have that I could put into my blog gets sucked out of me by days end. Believe me, I am not complaining. I just want to be honest here. Having 6 kids and a husband to take care of is not easy. I do know that family must be a priority. When I am with them everyday I am teaching them and molding them into who they will be when they are adults. Joe and I pray daily that all our children come to have a lasting personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. I love having Bible time with them in the morning and hearing them say verses, and asking me questions. Truly, there is no greater job then Mother! I find that if I am on the computer too much during the day I have a hard time staying on track and thus I don't have a smooth day. I am not sure about you guys but I find that I am constantly in the kitchen cooking meals, and cleaning up meals. I do love to cook and create delicious meals though. Three meals a day along with occational snacks takes up a large portion of my day. Add in homeschooling, chores, and errands I don't have much time. I would be interested in how other families work their days. What your schedules may be. Especially large families! I find myself longing for a simpler life. I find that the increase in technology takes families focused attention off of what is most important. 1. A relationship with our God. 2. Our families. Well, I am off to bed. I won't be able to read a chapter of my book tonight because the kids were up a little later then normal...but it's okay. They are only little once.
