My deals today at CVS/Better nutrition and health

01:54, Wednesday, January 9, 2008 .. 2 comments .. Link

I am a CVS junkie! Can anyone relate?  We are able to purchase items that we otherwise would not be able to afford.

I don't want to make it a habit of posting my CVS deals more then once a week, but my CVS deals I got today ties into some of our changes we as a family are taking to better our families nutrition and health.

The past year or so I have been trying to make a conscious effort to feed my family more nutritiously and better our health.  These are the things we have changed:

1. Switched to chemical free cleaning products-  Shaklee

2. Only buying hormone free milk.

3. Only buying range free eggs.

4. Trying to eat only natural, hormone free meats.

5. Lastly, we will only drink filtered water.

This brings me to my CVS deals today....

My first transaction on the left I did the deal I blogged about earlier, plus I added in the feminine product. After getting the 10.00 ECB from the Samucol, and the 2.00 ECB for the Colgate toothbrush,  I only paid about 4.00 out of pocket.  I can't give you the rundown for that transaction because I already mailed the receipt in for the Samucol rebate.  Transaction #2 is on the right.  I paid out of pocket .33 cents. I found on Brita's website a 5.00 coupon for the pitcher inself, and a 1.00 off coupon for the filters, then used a 5.00 off CVS coupon.

Our next goal over the next few months is to buy a grain mill.  Anyone have a grain mill they recommend?
