Making Your Home a Haven Tuesday Challenge...

What a busy day!  The morning started off quite well, we were able to get school done by lunch time.  Jake went in for an early nap, so we when he woke up we decided to venture out and do our much needed grocery shopping!  Yes...all 8 of us went to Walmart.  Joe met us at Walmart after work.  By the time we got home Amanda had to rush to dance class, and I had to make a quick dinner that consisted of Hamburger Helper and some left overs!  After that we had Bible study at our home. 

I was only able to wash 1 window today in the kitchen.  The reason I decided to clean windows is because they really started to look disgusting, and the weather here the past couple of days has been unseasonably warm.  Today got into the 60's! We never actually made it out for a walk, although Alexis took the 2 boys out for a walk earlier in the day. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention I also took all the kids into Lane Bryant to use the 15.00 off coupon.  My printer is starting to run out of ink so just about the only thing clear was the bar code for them to scan.  Right when I got to the store I showed the clerk the coupon and asked if I could still use it since it was not really readable, she then went to speak with her manager.  The manager said I could use it but not on clearance!?  I thought the coupon was good on clearance too?  I just checked the coupon again and it does not say not good on clearance items!  Oh well...I picked up 5 pair of underwear for 10.00.  I guess I can't complain, 2.00 a pair is still a good price.

Here is the after picture.  It was hard to really capture the difference my washing did, but we could tell it looked a lot better.
